Actors who looked nothing like the real life people they were playing

We've all watched a tv series or a movie with some actor playing a real life person, either still living or dead. And I got to thinking, how many of them actually looked anything like the person they were playing. Two that cometo mind are Alan Rickman who played Eamon DeValera in the the Michael Collins film and Anthony Hopkins who played Richard Nixon, like come on, you've got to be kidding me.

Totally agree, Brendan Gleeson looked more like Mick Collins and also, Irish actor Barry McGovern looked a lot more like Dev than Alan Rickman did by a million miles.

National Geo are running a Killing Kennedy tv film and Rob Lowe is playing the lead as JFK. Looks absolutely nothing like him.

Greg Kinnear though portrayed him in a History Channel series a few years ago and was there was quite the resemblance

I remember seeing that, good lookalike and a very under-rated actor too.

I remember a made-for-t.v. movie about George Best that was made a few years back, they couldn't have picked a guy who looked less like George if they tried.
