PS4 Pre-Order Thread! Where are you getting yours?

Just wondering where boardies are going to get their PS4's? Are they going to buy it online? Buy it from the likes of Gamestop/Smyths/HMV/Xtravision? Or going Amazon/other online retailers?

Absolutely, personally not too interested in BF4 either, I am now thinking Infamous and Knack along with a second controller.

Just got an email from gamestop informing me I wont getting ps4 due to ordering after cutoff.they hope to have by xmas but cant guarantee anything.i ordered on 7th august.i have a preorder with amazon france so whichever comes first il cancel the order

Not sure if you saw my post a few pages back, but be wary about ordering from Amazon France or Germany when it come to electronics.

Just be wary that amazon.de has a habit of cancelling electronic items that are being sent outside of Germany just before they are due to be dispatched, the French site could be the same, a lot of people had issues getting the Samsung Ativ sent over here when it was a bargain alert.

Smyths Carrickmines rang me to say I had to change.

I know I am well down the list of pre-orders - to the point I was surprised to be getting Day 1 in the first place.

Just got a call from Smyths , killzone bundle is cancelled , sony don't have enough stock to meet demand , il still get launch day console and they will be doing bundles on the day

just back from smyths, The megabundle is mine:D i ordered on the 9th of October for my bundle upgrade, so basically I asked how they will deal with it on the day and they said if you walk in on launch day and you reciept shows you took a mega bundle and the the date on your recipet is the 11th of ofct our earlier you will get a bundle. They got 11 mega bundles of sony and 29 concoles in total. Shame on anyone that misses out because its a great value bundle and and early ign preview was positive on KZ

Hmmmm, sounds like it doesn't matter if you were first on the original preorder list, this just guaranteed you a launch day console, it was then about who within that list came in first to order which bundle.

I was in today and they just got notified Of stock availability from Sony as I said bundles are fine but some won't get one as not enough stock

I just received an order update from amazon saying my PS4 bundle will be with me December 3rd/4th i just went with free shipping i'm paying enough for the bloody thing ha

This is the same date i had originally but due to a payment change my delivery date was "unavailable" for the last week

From what I have been reading the Killzone bundle is only being offered to people who ordered in the shops. I ordered online so it looks like I have been left out.

Can anyone here prove this wrong?

I would have went to the shop and pre-ordered if that was the case. Pity they didn't announce them back in June.

I would have tried GAME online but them and Amazon have been cancelling oversea pre-orders slowly over the mast few weeks. Didn't want to lose my pre-order like my friend who ordered from GAME.

He made it sound like the whole sku , said he had rang 25 from 50 people on first day launch and most were taking the offer of a bundle on the day ,
