It's a useless statistic unless qualified further; it could be that 65% of PERTINENT new car purchases are influenced BY 0.1% by the female of a relationship. The level of influence is equally important as its incidence.

Influenced? Yeah, I would say that's pretty spot on.

I made the decision on what our last two purchases were gonna be, she made the decision on the engine size. So yeah, she did influence it.

Nasty as hell. The only thing worse than when that happened to me was when a chainsaw chain snapped and wrapped around my arm.

I think all I have to consider (and what my other half will stare me down for) is does it have back seats or a boot that will fit bags and or dogs. Past that, as long as I can afford to buy and run it she knows not to argue. Sure she was only saying the other that I some day I'll have a car that will do 150mph+ and that I should be careful when I do.

Won't be for a while I don't think.
