That's 28 minus 22.19 leaves 5.8c for me. Thats grand but the effect on cash flow would be the biggest problem next spring. I had an arrangement with the bank to finance the fine for 5 years as it would have been considerable. I had this lease in my sights and a verbal agreement but needed a default position in case it didn't work out, hence loan agreement It was based on 84 payment @ 5.6%. It would have cost €403/100k litres per month. I would be very wary of putting my cashflow under pressure in the spring

Just being fed grass, spring ladies giving less than 15 get 2kg a day and the rest 4-6 depending on yield. Jersey, how come you have yours on silage?

This is the first year in a while with less than 25% heifers makes a big difference to supply. It's an area that will become appearant to many after 2015

Will introduce silage after the weekend.
