It's looking like I'll be greeting you internationally soon, as much as I don't really want to as I'm a home bird!

It can't be that bad every Ucc graduate from my course had a full time job within a month most in Ireland a few choose to go abroad that's over the last few years including this year. I know there is probably a bit more demand for chemical but mechanical is a strong discipline and you would think irish companies would be looking for mechanical engineers. Best of luck looking anyway I suppose all you can do is apply for as many jobs as you can.

I think (given that it has happened only twice in the 6 months that I owned the car, both.. ahem... at motors meets) it is turbo related. I'm going to hazard a guess at something like a turbo breather or something, being either loose or partially blocked.

She is due a service in the next few weeks so I will be revisiting after that.

It's crazy man, like 3-4 of the lads from our year got jobs here and couple more got them internationally. Really bad for the mechs at the min.
Think it's caused by a decent amount of mech engineers out of work and having the experience over us!

Mine had the old one and it was holding back the car, creating a vacuum in the crankcase and holding the oil from the turbo! I since replaced it with the vortex type but it was too late when I figured out!

I suppose you don't realise how bad it until you going looking. I remember just before summer all the lads were applying for jobs over the summer really organised and all going to interviews and all. I wasn't so organised

and when I did start looking there seemed to be very little I luckily got a summer job with a Kilkenny crowd and was flat out for the whole summer often 60 hour weeks. And I turned out to love the job.

Granted the fact my mother is there office manager did help me in getting the job :pac: anyway when I started back in college I was shocked no one had managed to get a job even the real top class lads with 625 point leaving Certs I couldn't believe.

There was a chap here at the airport beside me in a range rover, called a friend out from god knows where to jump start it.

I would have had no hassle helping him!

Besides that anyway he turned up in a 520d and there's not a kick out of it, I mean not a kick!

Had a few too many last night and lost my car keys in one of 4 bars.

Looked into getting the fob replaced and its €200! I just got another key cut for €60 instead.

Did anyone here see the crash on Wolfe Tone Quay earlier today circa 13:10 hrs? 2 cars and a van in the middle lane, E39 in between them looking a bit shorter than before....

The road by kimmage crossroads and the KCR is feckin mental both ways, some sort of accident involving an oil tanker I think.

You won't have an engine to get remapped if the swirl flaps fail
