Should be more concrete news by tomorrow, initial reports promising http://www.fanatix.com/news/arsenal-hopeful-on-minor-mesut-ozil-injury/156498/ That's a lot of cash tied up in defenders IMO. I have Chester and am hoping to hold onto him as my other 4 defs have reasonable fixtures the next 2 weeks while hull have 2 tricky aways and he would be bench material anyway. Chester is hoped to be back for Hulls next home game to Sunderland, as is Brady so I don't want to waste a transfer for 2 weeks. I'm hoping to keep chester long term as he's the only 4m defender who is a fairly definite starter in a team who look resilient defensively especially at home, so I think the best 5th defender for home rotation in FPL, with Clyne a close second.

But that really is throwing all my eggs in the defence basket this weekend. I'd be starting: Vidic - Dawson - Coleman - Nastasic - Terry Is this a wise move? I could always downgrade Coleman in later weeks if I need to bulk attack.

Why is it Chico and not Rangel or Davies that you give top billing to? I've seen very little of Swansea except highlights but I notice his offensive returns have been non existent since he arrived in England(Wales). Santi Cazorla will be involved on Saturday and Walcott may be in the squad also.

Also, am I reading that report right in that the game occurred at 12.45 BST. Is that British Standard Time? So it essentially happened at mid day yesterday meaning Oscar could have been on his way back to London by the time the other games were kicking off yesterday.

If Swansea's defenders happen to be fit come friday I may do Hangeland out anyway but Kos will not be far behind and I'm eyeing up Clyne next week for him.

However my thinking defensively now is to leave Mertesacker in situ for the next two weeks- then I will replace him with a Chelsea defender(probably Terry) and double up on their defence(I have Luiz) for the following 7 weeks, that way even with rotation I'll be sure of having one of them play, I'm confident that there's goals in Luiz this year and we know Terry is always a threat.
