What would happen if a Giant ate Earth?

Imagine looking up one day and seeing a giant mouth about to ate the place. It'd be mental.

Would they catch diseases from the radiation? What would happen if they ate someone with Aids? Would they catch it?

This stuff keeps me awake at night.
