So here is the story. Me and my friend were at Oktoberfest. We had many many beers. Decided to go on a few rollercoasters. My friend wasn't feeling great. He puked on some girl beside him.

Anyway she iss totally pissed. She carries us to the police station and we get a 100 euro fine. By carry us I mean her and her friend. Now we could have legged it but I thought it was so ridiculous I wanted to see what the police would say so I let then carry me. One under each shoulder. I thought the police would have said that these two bitches be crazy. But the joke was on us. They said the laundry bill would be 100 nips. I ****ing cried. Is this a disgrace?

Last time I checked, 'many many beers' tend to get people drunk. When people get drunk and go on rollercoasters, resulting in throwing up on people, the end result is looking like a drunken idiot. Simples.

Different country, different culture. What flies here does not there. For being too drunk in public in Australia you can get fined up to $1,100. The police regularly walk through pubs and can fine you there-and-then, even if you're not being a nuisance but have just had too much to drink (which they deem to be four 'schooners' as a rough guideline - 430ml beers).

I went to oktoberfest and drank manny manny beers and got on some rides, this do gooder german kid strapped into the seat next to me got all chummy and asked me how many steiners I'd had, I indicated five and he suddenly became very restive and unhapppy with his lot

I didn't puke on claus von poindexter but as the ride started up I did remark that this is probably gonna be like what dive bombing in a stuka was like, it didn't lighten his mood though

The two girls carried me. I am not big but not small but could have easily got away. I just went along with it. They picked me cos my mate is huge. Not a hope they'd lift him. We just went along with it cos we thought the police would laugh in their face!!! **** sake. We were wrong!

As would Irish police if Irish people brought two foreigners to them who had committed a faux pas that they had thought was acceptable for whatever reason.

Different country, different culture. It's really not that tricky, but even here you get fined for throwing up in a taxi. Why should it be any different when you literally throw up on a person from your own negligence of having "many many beers" and getting on a roller-coaster?

If a guy with many, many beers inside puked on me on a rollercoaster, it wouldn't matter 1 bit what country we were in. There'd be a precious part of his anatomy he wouldn't feel like using for quite some time after contact with my boot.

nope, german police are enforcing the law.

and most likely the law in question is the law regarding your responsibility to pay for any damage you cause.

If you puked on the underground you'd be billed for the cleanup costs under that law.
Cant see why puking on some poor girls dress is any different. You caused a mess, you have to fix the mess.

Also, the cops often take a higher amount off you in cash and on the spot if you're a foreigner as they want to avoid the risk of you not paying that cleaning bill or replacement dress should one be sent at a later stage.
