PS4 Pre-Order Thread! Where are you getting yours?

Just wondering where boardies are going to get their PS4's? Are they going to buy it online? Buy it from the likes of Gamestop/Smyths/HMV/Xtravision? Or going Amazon/other online retailers?

They were also doing that to guarantee you a launch day one and people have still ended up on the second list, when they announce the release date at Gamescom next week we will know more.

They expect the second batch to be christmas thats why.
But if batch one doesnt drop until like second week in devember this 'guarantee' will be put back to mid february.. approx

That's good I do hope if you buy Ghosts on PS3 and then when you get your PS4 you can carry over your prestige rankings and not have to start again.

everything carries over from ps3 to ps4 all you stats everything. the same goes for fifa and battlefield 4

Thank god im 8th on the list at my local smyths... mind you plenty still to look forward to , GTA V, Killzone on Vita, Fifa 14 etc....

Went in to GameStop today to pay some more off the PS4 and preorder COD: Ghosts and an extra controller and they had this up in the shop.

Just in case anyone was unsure what would be available on launch day one in Gamestop.

Paid off the last of my PS4 in GameStop yesterday! While it's a Christmas present, I just need to focus on paying off the few games now and the extra controller (mainly for Lego Marvel with my son) - should be a fun Christmas morning for us!

I have pre ordered BF4 with my PS4, I am "ALLOWED" one more game by the Mrs and it is a toss up between FIFA 14 and Watchdogs. I would like Killzone but I am getting BF4 and I don't want 2 FPS.

What are ye planning on picking up?

If it's out at launch Watchdogs and Killzone. I still don't think WD will make the PS4 launch from what I have hear and seen from Ubi interviews but if they manage it happy days.

Would also like to get BF4 but I just don't like the gun play mechanics in BF games, they just seem off to me.

I preorder BF4, COD:G and Knack.....i have 40 quid paid off each. Have 420 notes on the PS4....need 460 for console and camera.

I've only got Killzone preordered but I think I might get anything else off PSN, usually PSN games are priced at RRP whereas shops are selling them much lower but the price most shops are looking for for PS4 games makes it a bit better of a deal to buy digital.

lol...i'm in there every Saturday checking my giftcard and place, yes Mr. Dower....you're still no. 1 - same as last week :rolleyes:

LOL!....poor staff must be driven mad or think i'm nuts!....but shizzle!, 500 quid is alot of dosh to me!

I had to sell alot of gear and half my soul to get that together...:o

They're not gonna close shop before the busiest sales period of the year. If they were in danger of closing, and I've heard nothing to suggest they are, they'd prob do it HMV style, after Xmas

If they were that close to closing they'd probably continue to christmas and not honour any vouchers or the payments on pre-orders nearer to closing.
