Exchange 2010 Spam Filtering from client
joe2687
Hi all,
Looking for a solution for managing SPAM content from a client (Office for MAC 2011)
Brief synopsis - We're running Postini for our organisation (500 mailboxes) and it works quite well - our CEO has asked for a solution where when he hits the "Mark as Junk" option in Outlook 2011, it will work across the board. Essentially, when marked as spam in Outlook client, it's marked as spam for all devices connected to the mailbox (iPhone, iPad etc). I've looked for a solution with Postini, but not an option (also it's almost end of life).
No problem taking out a spam licence with a different vendor for this one user - just looking for suggestions of programs that could achieve this..
TIA,
Joe.

Hi Joe,
See the last post here? It's not blocking the mail on postini but its a workaround?

Thanks for that Belfunk..
So if I take from this that if a client is connected via OWA to the mailbox and blocks an address, it should take effect for every mailbox connection via OWA.
I suppose I could configure the main client on the MAC to connect via OWA proxy and if he blocks here, in theory it should block on iPhone and iPad. Will give it a go now!
