First, you'll need a Parcel Motel account as you'll need to get this shipped to their Belfast address. You can get one here and read how it works here.

Visit the NowTV shop page, press "Buy Now" and follow the steps.

When you've completed your order, and as soon as it gets shipped you'll be emailed Tracking information which can be checked here.

Wait for it to arrive!

Where can I get plugins for Plex?
Plugins can be found here and can be installed by copying the extracted folder to the Plex Media Server Plugin Folder, or by following this video.

Things to know about the box..
It can only be connected to your TV via the HDMI cable (provided) or the AV Out connection (unconfirmed & cable not provided).

There is no ethernet port on the box so can only be connected to your network via WiFi.

The software isn't the same as the Roku LT, and the Roku Store is a modified version to the one seen on the Roku LT, which is why Plex has to be sideloaded.

Only one sideloaded-app can be on the device at one time. (App sideloaded via developer menu, as seen in Plex Installation Tutorial, not Plex plugin)

You can search through the YouTube app (myVideosBuzz) via the on screen keyboard.

Without a movies or sports subscription, this box is still worth the £10 you paid! Whether you use Plex and stream your choice of movies/shows that you have on your server or through the Roku Store apps such as CNET, USTV and RevisionTV there will always be something to watch regardless of your subscription status.

What we know so far:

Yeah, for some reason I must be one of the only people in Ireland that does not have problems with the WiFi on the Cisco because mine is working quite well even for streaming HD Netflix so I really don't want to go down the road of setting up another router.

Well than the box is only for NowTV and Vevo but for 10£ plus 2.5£ for loads of movies still a bargain.

If you can, change the DNS settings on your router and all devices in your home will be able to access the other services (BBC iplayer, US Netflix etc) without having to change anything on the device. I recently got a cheap Netgear router ex Argos to this on my UPC broadband.

So I got the box, nice little thing comes with an HDMI cable.

Setup was easy, it took a while to download some updates but NowTV worked fine with the expected 720p quality. The stream is starting quickly but I noticed some buffering once in a while.

Now for some reason I can't seam to find a way to change the DNS settings so that I can get iPlayer to work, has anybody found a way to do that on the box itself?

It will probably change today or tomorrow, I ordered mine last Friday at around 11 am and is only ready for collection today.

Yes, haven't done any mods. The only thing you can do with it right now is install Plex, which I don't use.

As with anything it takes time for these streaming services to pick up, there are plenty of similar box's like minix neo series and other Chinese brands. They all vary in price but almost all alow xbmc and other apps to stream things for free, not only that but they allow you to download and run every app that's in the play store on then.

This is just a good deal and you get free services from it, paying is an option for films.
