Hi does anyone know where to source a reasonably priced speedometer for the cbr1100xx bike or a place that could fix a set?? any help much appreciated

You would be doing very well to get a set and they are mental money new....try costello breakers in Tullamore, or city spares in Dublin.

yes it looks that way alright. the cheapest new for a speedometer is 230 dollars which is a bit much. will give them a call tomorrow thanks.

try clocks, gauges, gauge, instruments, speedo etc etc

found one there, ebay item 390606295005

cbr1100 XXY clocks, from 2000 year bike with ~70,000 miles - 110 sterling (ex postage)

thanks for that, actually hadn't come across that ebay listing. looking for clocks off the 99 carb model so still not fully sure if the speedometer is different as them clocks are off the fuel injection model.
