I think it was strictly come dancing or something like it. He told Catherine Thomas that people only like for the obvious reason to which i think he was referring to her good looks. He also insult some other performers from fair city and and referred to to the show as bad acting. A complete an utter jack ass who acts like he has some talent and done something. I dont understand why a loss making enterprise like RTE that squeezes the tax payer for the extortionate tv license fee pay these people so much since most people cant stand them.

I'm a fairly calm person, who knows where the off button is. However the only man who would make me literally say "Oh F***" out loud before I can change the channel, even if I'm on my own in the room, would be Brendan O'Connor. He manages to annoy me so much so much it makes my blood boil at times. He even does advertisements for Spar or something, wtf??! His very existence has started me to detest all Cork people, which isn't really fair, I may need councilling to overcome this. I'll be sending the bill to Mr O'Connor, at least he can well afford it. Seeing Gay Byrne appear on RTE makes me a little sad inside, can they not give chances to younger presenters? Will they still be wheeling him out at 100? Reminds me of the "job for life" philosophy in RTE. Eamon Dunphy or Pat Spillane remind me of the staleness of RTE sports coverage. Spout the same unresearched sh!te week after week and hey presto, you have a job for life. 99% of people could do a better job, and for much cheaper. Controversial for controversial sake gets old quickly.
