Hello
I bought a 05 Colt Mitsubishi automatic 1.3 (triptonic) a year ago. (not under warranty)
It intermittently judders in first / reverse gear. Only solution is to turn off the engine, wait 5-10 minutes and somehow the transmission system memory is reset/deleted and I can move forward normally again.
This seems to happen more frequently lately.
This owner reported a similar issue on the same type of car @
http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/showthread.php?p=75675310
He had to change the clutch actuator.
I bought an OBDII Diagnostic Trouble Codes device and got 2 codes, one permanently with no number given, one code is intermittent with the code P1710, which is documented @

My questions are
- can you please recommend a mechanic around Dublin 15 ( B'town, Clonee, Dunboyne, Mulhddard) for this type of issue
The mitsubishi garage is too far away and I suspect too expensive
- can you please recomment a place where i can buy a new / 2nd hand clutch actuator....in case this is recommended by the mechanic..i could not find much on the internet
note: the Mitsubishi Colt shares 60 % of its part with the Smart ForFour car...
