Picked up my new second hand car from a garage this morning. No tax on it. How do I go about taxing it? Seems to be nothing on motor tax.ie??

got the front lip and side skirts put on, the indicators will have to be shipped to me later next month. Its work in progress but should be the way I want it soon enough.

Keep the amber indicators, look way better on it IMO.

Those wheels look class on it though:cool:. I think the ones on it now are pretty cool too.:)

Wheels are perfect but the rear end needs something with the lip and skirts.

Also, yes keep the amber. For some reason amber goes well with black but makes other coloured cars look dated.

I only got H7's from them though, the yellows

I have the H1's from a much different source, they are eye blindingly good

requires a relay per bulb though! :eek:

On a random note, I can't hear Slane this year (I normally can if the weather is clear enough) alas the traffic is getting diverted up my road as per norm. To my surprise as I was working on my 406 earlier only to see another red 406 TD pass my house, straight piped and all

Even at that its crazy mileage unless it was abroad alot. I recently seen a 2008 passat with 400k km on it and I thought that was seriously high but this :eek: and people say Renault are unreliable my dad had a similar van and he swears it was the single most reliable thing he ever owned and he probably owned 50 plus cars vans.

It is crazy mileage, but that's the only sensible explanation

Almost 400 km per day ever day of its life roughly as its a late 07 reg. still if it was going form cork to Dublin and back every day and a few other places it would add up.
