Threads which are too long put extra pressure on the servers. There's no very specific / magical number of posts AFAIK, 10k was chosen as an easy number to remember and because by that point the servers would be starting to complain every time they had to pull down the thread.

I know it well. I have never seen so many Gardaí. The diving unit was out today.

You should see the aircraft coming in to Belfast, Knock and Dublin

They all have around 5-10 aircraft each

It's an app that allows you to send a pic to a friend, but it only remains visible for 10 seconds before being hidden from the recipient device and deleted from the intermediary servers.

Handy therefore for pics you don't want saved on someone's laptop or phone / to come back and haunt you!
