Having been in that situation, you simply have to make moves no matter what!

Not sure I'd have done that deal but he is dead right to be getting players in, like in real life, Sunderland NEED players!

Anyone know what this is based on? Is it just points in the league? Or does it take into account things like lowering average age of the squad, keeping players happy, balancing the books etc???

With such a large league with so many new managers it would be very hard to police this league from cheats if you turn off monitoring.

My vote is leave it on.......It tends to go wild west when there off.

I know your right, but I was just offering the suggestion because of what happened with Malaga/Real, there were a lot here that thought that deal was sound for both parties and should have been sanctioned......

Personally I totally agree with you, it would become a bit wild Wild West, but its only fair that the option is at least discussed....

Long story, end result was a Madrid/isco swap sort of, with some side deals too for other players!

It was a good deal for both sides IMO

Madrid bought mendy for 3m

Malaga bought modric for 16m

I think roughly this was the deal, personally dont think it should have been canceled, Both modric an isco went cheaper than expected but the loss on both deals cancelled out the other. No difference between what they agreed vs isco going for 45m and modric going for 35.

There you have it,black and white.Modric can't sell for 16m in any gameworld.The game engine imploded.Now both have been black listed for dealing with each other.
Madrid should have gave more for Mendy and in return Malaga should have gave him back his money with a bigger offer for Modric 93.
