McHale Wrapper

Was wrapping for the first time this season today and the counting sensor on the wrapper started giving trouble, it stopped counting the rotations so I have to do it all manually. Is there a simple solution or does it need a new sensor ? And where is the sensor located ? Need help as it has to be going for Wednesday

Here is a snap of the sensor cable kit:

that runs from the control box back to the table. If you lift the table and look around you should be able to locate the magnet (blue) on the circular spinning section of the table. Just check that it is still there. From memory it's located at towards the front of the table.
Not sure what wrapper model you have but look at the following manual and the diagrams on pages 76-81. Also reference to page 60-62 for photographs of locations of various magnets and sensors.

It does sound like a magnet issue for starters. Hope that helps.

Probably a sensor or magnet problem. Sensors on some models are hidden under a black plastic cap about 4" diameter if having trouble locating it. Check the wiring and connector blocks if everything else works out ok
