Does WMP pull the files onto your main drive like itunes? It's ok anyway. XBMC is working for me know. It's a fantastic piece of software.

ah okay thanks mine are lablled a bit differently, this is the third in from the left at the top (clip side). im not even sure such a defect is even possible but ill check anything to avoidhaving to rma the board at this stage

My 600T took about 2-3 weeks getting from dabs (bolton) to cork

My rule of thumb is a week from the point of dispatch normally

Its just them covering themselves for when An post lose stuff. It can really vary, sometimes 3 days flat(more like 2.5) but other stuff has been a little over a week. Is it a big item? Small stuff from jersey has always been super fast for me.

Had a good chuckle to myself just there, my old 8800 GTS has died again, finally. Its been baked at least twice, probably 3 times, and spent the last while mining a cryptocurrency. Tempted to try bake her again just for the laugh. Its mainly just a fileserver so I can throw any old card in there but it'd be hilarious if it could be revived once more.

How long does dabs take to deliver generally? I can't track Royal Mail packages, and I think An Post takes charge of those once they reach Ireland. I ordered on Saturday and they dispatched Monday morning. I expected the package on Thursday, or Friday at worst

Got a sweet deal yesterday, an Fx-4100 machine with 8gb of ram and a 1tb hard drive for 170, got home and swapped the parts around for an old G620, 4GB of ram and a 500gb hard drive, had it built, advertised and sold again within a few hours - total cost to me to upgrade PC 2 to Fx-4100, 8GB ram and a 1TB hard drive....€30. :cool:

Ya that Gigabyte board looks nicer on TTL's video, also Gigabyte have done a decent job with colouring all their boards

Yeah, ASRock nailed the black and gold theme. ASUS... need someone who is not colour-blind to glance at the boards before they go into production next time.

Asus are still at it. TTL said the only way he could make the new colour scheme work is if he used leopard-print and shag carpet:pac:

and iirc Me and tea pulled a board very similar to that out of a case and it wasn't that old (i could be wrong)

Have a look at TTL's overview of it, looks a lot better with the right light.

Point taken, though in that day and age, all the kids were fingerpainting motherboards - Gigabyte an ASUS were at it too.

I like the colouring of the board is class but that Ultra Durable print ugh

as for asrock they've come along way from this beauty

ASRock just need to stop dicking around, and use matte black PCBs on their boards, then they'll be awesome.

That said, a couple of Gigabyte's Z87 boards look awesome. There's an red and black one that's great. (The white is actually chrome)

Im happy with matx, would have gone itx if only they had a pcie 1 slot! Would make me a very happy man.

In fairness we'd be asking a lot. not many people would be going sli and soundcard. With the prodigy build i would've been using a DAC so not much is changing for me going M-ATX as i already own the DAC

I guess it's not that horrible, come to think of it. It's just that if you wanted to run dual cards, and a sound card, you have to water cool. That said, there aren't many cases out there with a fifth PCI slot, so motherboard manufacturers aren't going to do their slot layout that way.

Delivery from HWVS yesterday. Ordered last Friday so no complaints with time.

The 2 boxes you can see are a Corsair VS350 and CX430M power supplies. Have a CX430 already and no complaints so happy to go again.

One question I have is I want to put one of them into a homeserver and I wondering if the VS350 would be able for it? At the most it will be booting 4 hard drives but for the foreseeable future there will only be 2.

It all nice and shiny, but ill stick to my 680. It works perfect so far and another 500-600eu wont give me that much of an upgrade. Though I would love to see 680 to drop in price so I could pop second one later this year.
