Just arrived in the door. Tempted to order another two. The ones I got are earmarked for birthday presents but mys sons have said they would like one too. What are the chances of subsequent orders being honoured I wonder?

got mine last night (parcel motel).

First impression and unboxing:

- Very nice packaging, Apple has certainly made everyone up their standards
- The unit needs to be charged for at least three hours before being used. Apple has certainly not made everyone up their standards in this regards! I like it when products can be used straight away.
- The screen is nice. I haven't compared it side by side with a Kindle as I don't have one but the text resolution looks low-ish and fonts jaggedy-edged. It maybe the firmware, I'll report back after update. Or maybe I'm expecting too much.
- UI is OK. Usable but nothing to write home about.

Well all In all I'm happy with Littlewoods, I received my product in 5 working days and 4 days before their estimated delivery date of May 13th, I don't know what people are complaining about, nobodies has been late yet, relax the cacks.

Yeah, it is fun to slag off Littlewoods and their weird shipping updates but fairs fair, I got mine in four or five working days and shipping was free. Very happy for €36. They would be better off not telling people about 'incorrect depots' because it just winds people up :pac:

Anybody who got in to the deal very late will be waiting longer but that's to be expected.

Good for you but mine are still processing in Littlewood's warehouse 9 days after I ordered them. That's what I'm complaining about... plenty of ppl seem to have ordered theirs after mine and are recieveing them.

I sent Littlewoods a message today and got the following reply:

Thank you for your email about your order for the Nook Readers.

I'm sorry this is taking longer to arrive than expected.

While every effort is made to deliver parcels as soon as possible, occasionally delays can occur.
