I was looking at an s60 (02) with slightly more miles for the same price. Same engine, but it looked a lot more dated than the S80 - athough a dark color will do that on some cars.
Pitty that car is at the other end of the country to me. Otherwise I would be taking a spin in it tomorrow.

It does have a short NCT but has plenty of Tax left over and supposedly a Full Service History and low-ish miles.

Tbh Very little goes wrong with these cars and they usually don't take much to get through an NCT, Still I would be pushing the owner to NCT it before purchase as it's nearly within the 3 months early test period.

IMO If a potential buyer goes in with their eyes open this could turn out to be a great bangernomics car.

Wording is a little ambiguous, but my reading of it is that it passed the NCT 2 months ago and hence should have a decent length left. Wondering if heating up could simply be a thermostat/radiator issue rather than gasket worry?

Granted its the weedy 1.6, and reasonably high miles, but if it does have test and the heating is a small issue then I reckon you could do a lot worse for €650

Wouldn't be too worried about the 149k miles if it runs well and you get the impression it has been maintained. These 6 pots are strong and should take another 100-150k miles. I'd be a bit more worried about the life of the box...
