The lack of leather would bother me but that can be sorted relatively handily I would reckon. Big tax but it's a sweet engine and it's only a little more than the 520i. I prefer the manual over the auto as well but that's just me.

Assuming the ad is genuine and it went into storage with an NCT I'd say it could be ok and could pass with next to nothing. The seller may just not want the hassle of it.

Owned by a family from new would give me reason to believe it's been minded well and having seen and heard horror stories I have feck all faith in the NCT at this stage.

On the other hand it could have a busted cooling system or any kind of problems. I'm purely guessing but I reckon it could be a sneaky bargain and your man who offered €700 could get an awful lot of car for the money.

Feshty doesn't have an NCT.

Was there something about those almeras that made them very unreliable? I have a feeling that there is, but can't remember!

sorry i took it up that it had when it said just passed the NCT, they must mean its just out of NCT.

Always liked them. She'd look well with a few wash, polish and a wax. God its in some state in those pics.

Wheels are awful IMO. Mary Robinson had one of those as a state car when she was President, very cool. Had one myself, a 3.0 V6 Q4, excellent car to drive although it was very thirsty.

Pity about that. I was thinking the 2.0 V6 might sound good in comparison but would cost the same to tax. I have a 5 pot at the moment and it sounds just about OK
