Nope, wasn't me I'm afraid. I was in Rathnew at that time.

I was Southbound on it at about 12:30, and then Northbound coming home about half an hour ago.

How do I clean a mankey interior? Soil, damp, dusty, smells of spuds (yum! But not in a car)...

Or do I have to do my usual take everything out and burn it in a big fire :pac:

I'm too cheap to invest in even renting one... Was thinking some sort of carpet cleaner? Or am I being silly

If all else fails, I may just have to invest in a wet vac

Erm, I got this when a stray cat got into my dads old jeep and "done it's business" so to speak. I sprayed the whole can off it. It seemed to make a difference.

Merely masks the smell. One would assume that disposing of the issue would be better than just covering it up. The interior clearly requires cleaning.

I'd believe a bit of elbow grease would see you right dgt.

Do you have a workshop hoover/shop vac?
Ours is wet and dry and what I do is spray a solution of apc and water on the carpets/seats. Scrub it in. Hoover it out. Spray on clean water then hoover that out too.

I let the car run down to fumes for the first time the other day, I never usually let this happen, and wouldn't you know, the one time im just empty, the fuel filler cap swith decides to go and die!!! Away from home with 20kms left on the trip computer!!! Ragin!

Ran through my car documents there clearing out some old stuff, found my insurance records, made for some interesting reading. All of these were on an '00 Peugeot 206 1.1L

2006 - €2436 [Quinn]
2007 - €2393 [Axa Direct - had an at-fault accident worth €47k with Quinn]
2008 - €1781 [Axa Direct]
2009 - €1424 [Axa via Broker]
2010 - €1103 [Axa via Broker]
2011 - €708 [Axa Direct]
2012 - ~€600 [Axa Direct]

Almost €10k on insurance :eek:

Yup, in 2012 at the time of renewal I was 25. I get a bit of extras too like roadside recovery and that bringing up by about €85 from the basic quote. All those are fully comp too.

Zurich are doing good things right now. Word on the street is that Aon are doing great deals with Liberty aswell. Seems they're trying to shake up their market share a bit.

FBD are also apparently putting a push out for new business.

That was a quality episode IMO of course... Went back to the more ridiculousness of Top Gear and found myself laughing out loud quite a few times throughout. Hopefully the rest of the episodes will continue in a similar fashion.

Starting the petrol in the library was just priceless tbh...:D
