At the popular Dixie Gun and Knife Show in Raleigh, North Carolina, three people were wounded when an owner was taking a 12-gauge shotgun out of its case and the firearm accidentally discharged at the entrance. Two bystanders were hit by shotgun pellets and taken to a hospital, while a retired deputy sheriff suffered a slight hand injury.
