Dating for Disabled People

Hey

I have a friend who is disabled..

and is having quite a hard time with online dating

The disabilty is quite severe. She was born with one leg, and no hands (only arms).. and also shes only about a meter tall

Even with all that , she can drive a car and get around by herself

but I think being disabled gives makes online dating much harder for her (and it already sucks.. I havent tried it for years)

I'm just wondering if theres anything I can do to help her with dating..
or is it something that she has to work out for herself

ps: She lives in UK so she wont read this

I'm in the UK and I'm reading this. Wouldn't have thought being disabled was a handicap in the dating scene. Lots of people are attracted to disabled people. I've got quite a thing for blind men and amputees. If I could find a gorgeous Swedish man with long blond hair, who was blind and had a leg amputated at the knee, that would be my fantasy come true.

As for all other people, she'll have to keep at it until one day she finds Mr Right.

AH answer: being able to park anywhere is a big plus. Some guys would find that attractive.

My own personal opinion if you're actually genuinely serious, is that you let her find her own dates, nobody likes being set up by their friends with somebody their friends think would be "good for them".

The last time I used online dating was about 8 years ago, but to be honest it had improved alot since I first used it.

I would say so long as she is upfront and honest about her condition she will get some interest. Everyone has flaws. The only advice I can give is to use a paid site as opposed to a free one, because that way you get people serious about meeting people and not just people there for the laugh.
