Justin Bieber fans are cutting themselves in protest of him smoking weed. I sh*t you not. CutforBieber was trending on Twitter and his fans just posted photos of themselves self harming. One girl threatened to sacrifice guinea pig.

It started as a joke. Someone posted on 4chan and asked people to create an account, photoshop pictures and say that they self harmed cause Bieber smoked weed. It caught on though and pre pubescent girls began cutting themselves.

I find it a bit disturbing that people think kids cutting themselves are 'idiots.'

Yeah, the people on 4chan who started this are morons, it's a stupid thing to get trending.

But the few kids who are actually self harming 'for Bieber' now? Um, no, it's not idiotic.

It's a sign of some serious mental issues. Mentally healthy people do not cut themselves. They're rational enough to realise that that's not normal.

So yeah. 'Weep for humanity' and call those kids 'idiots' all you like, but that's just proven once again that the stigma surrounding mental health issues in Ireland is still alive and well.

You lot would have wolfed down Donny Osmond and followed him up with David Cassidy and had Jimmy Osmond as a side dish and Michael Jackson would have stayed a Peter Pan. It's nice and also more appropriate that the teenyboppers are 'in lurve' with a young boy rather than some singer who is trying to appear ten years younger than he actually is and who know, with age he may turn into a singer that people of all ages like.
