Not sure what the small o-rings could be for. They look more like sealant o-ring than anti-vibration ones. Tubing clamps (I assume too many were ordered), and what I think might be external mounting brackets for a radiator?

Yeah, tightening fittings can be annoying. I usually just use a cloth and pliers.

I dont have clamps on the barbs at all. they don't... clamp? look at them, there is no locking mechanism..

With those clamps, they're just pressure-held. You pull open the two things to widen the clamp slightly, then let go over the tube, and it holds.

they're completely loose over the tube though.

It's 7/16" ID tubing, does the OD and the clamp size match?

not at all. I'll link more pics, its hard to get clear though cause my phone camera is **** at night. the clamps are much larger than the OD of the tube.

Looks like the wrong size clamps were ordered. Not a huge thing. Plenty of people run 1/2 barbs and 7/16 tubing. I personally wouldn't, but I know a few people that have with no issues, so it's not life threatening, etc.

I bled putting them on. I'd hang off a cliff holding them. this is my first time though. I sound like a virgin all over again.

of course, its your choice, disclaimer blah blah own risk, I don't take responsibility etc etc.

tomorrow I'll burn in the CPU, so we'll see if temp affects anything.

For what it's worth, I'd say you're fine. At the very least, the tubing will hold for the few days it takes Specialtech to send you new clamps.

but to put on new clamps, I'd have to bleed the loop, which I've no idea how I'd go about.

I'll get on your specialtech Monday. I won't be ordering anything off them again. ****ing delays, false stock level and now this.

What clamps do I need?

Hold the pump or res or whatever will move the most over a bucket and unscrew. You won't have to leak test it again anyway.

How can I get temp readings for my CPU and GPU? A tool that should be among the software included with the mobo (asrock) or would a third party tool do?

HWMonitor or HWiNFO64 will do both of those. The former is smaller, and more lightweight, the second is still pretty small, but I find takes slightly longer to open. It does however usually give a lot more readings.

Cheers. What do people on here use for folder navigation? Im sick of clicking and clicking into folders to get at something. Im thinking if I could see the contents of a folder is some cascading list style thingy it would be great. Not necessarily animated or anything... hard to describe what Im picturing in words hah.

I use my keyboard for folder navigation with the stock Windows Explorer.
Backspace, Alt+Left/Right-Arrow, Up, Down, Home, End, PgUp, PgDw, Ctrl+Home/End, Alt+Enter, Tab, Windows+E
With all the shortcuts it's very quick and easy.

If your looking for something else, I personally haven't used anything but from a quick google search some of these might be worth looking at?
