I gave the minion a €20 deposit and made sure he understood that this would hold a copy for me today, so's I can call into the shop and pick it up with son this afternoon. "No problem" the minion said and took my money, leaving me with a print out of my details etc. I finished Resi Revelations a couple of weeks ago so decided to drop it in and put a few more euro off the Skylanders game, my son paying towards it with his savings. I asked the minion, a new one, not the last one, if my copy was on hold there for later on. She replied, after consulting the computer and her manager, that minion no.1 had, in fact, booked me a copy in a delivery some 2 weeks away. I expressed my disbelief and so minion no.2 went to the store room and got one of the only 6 copies of the booster pack out and put my name on it. I can speculate as to the disaster that may have unfolded had I arrived later on with Jack and found that half wit of a shop assistant had frakked up my order. Explanation as to why this error was made? "He's new, only here 2 weeks". Muppet!!!!

The truth about Doom 3, and it breaks my heart to say it, is that it just isn't very good.
