Decat/downpipe/CAIS are where the booooooooo come from, pity you didn't ask before buying that Miltek system and we could have saved you some money, all the same you got arguably the best off the shelf system for the GTI now so it's all good, also make sure and wait until the CAIS is fitted before going for a custom map

Improved Induction and intercooler are the only real mods left for the GTI after that and they will give very small returns, a nice mod would be S3 injectors

Anyway im still saving for my new alloys+tyres gonna cost 1000 beans or close

Then decat/cais/downpipe and then the suspension modding madness and dreamscience handset after the chrstmas

Haven't done much to mine except drive it and drive it.. Although it did tick over the 80k miles the other day, and it didn't spontaneously burst into flames, absolutely chuffed with that result!

Borrowed the ECU out of a mates bus to check if the ECU is the problem resulting in my wastegate actuator not working. Also measured the solenoid on his bus, just to find out, that the voltages I'm reading on mine are just dandy.

Anyhow, swapping the ECU around made no change and unfortunatly I couldn't test my ECU in his bus, because he's got immo 3 in his yoke. The amount of coding just to test things were a bit too much for the excercise.

Looks like I'm back to the drawing board. I'll have a look at the faulty fuel-temp sensor and see, if that is, what is causing it.

Oh. And replaced my foglight and bulb, just to fix something today.

Fitted a second hand set of alloys(cheers to RoverJames for your advice), though I think I prefer the originals but they were breaking my heart (over 10 flats in 6 months including 3 in the last week!)
Just need to give the new ones a refurb, a set of spigot rings and some nice new centre caps!

Can't do much about the running issues at the moment, so in the interest of actually doing something useful this evening I dismantled half the dashboard to re-install my headunit.

While I was at it I discovered the location for the pollen filter behind the top glovebox, so I finally got to fit the new filter that I've had sitting in a box for nearly 10 months

No prizes for guessing which is the old and which is the new :P
