Just wondering....Have you ever fell in love at first sight? As in as soon as you spoke to someone you knew they were 'the one'.

Or did it take you a while?

Either way, did it last?

Edit By 'Love at first sight', I mean the phrase. Not real love, more lust.

Lust at first but not love. I remember it well. Made a massive tit out of myself to get his attention that night, went out with him for 9 months thinking it was love but after breaking up, the only thing I truly missed about him was his willy. Love at first sight couldn't exist.

I've experienced strong infatuation at first conversation, which is probably as close as it gets (realistically). Didn't work out in the long run though.

Not so much love at first sight for me. More like we were friends for 7 years, and we were always in relationships with other people during that time.

Then at the beginning of summer when for the first time in our friendship, we were both single at the same time.. something clicked. I'd never given any thought to there being an "us" before that moment. But it was definitely more than just the initial lust, and there was a cavalcade of emotions! And our friends said they saw it coming a long time in advance which is nice.

Don't worry. Love doesn't exist. People fool themselves into thinking they're in love out of pure fear of dying alone.
Now, use the money you would have spent on a gf on more spliffs and he truly happy

Make that 30 +1 flutter, sometimes when I'm browsing on the mobile I tend to skip longer posts because I have the attention span of a two year old. But that post held my attention from start to finish, brilliant story!

I guess I'd better actually contribute something thread relevant at this stage-

For me it was when this girl moved into a flat I was staying in, and she was incredible looking, completely took my breath away. A month later we were both getting ready for our birthdays and she had made us a home made pizza. She bent over to slide it into the oven and standing behind her, the legs nearly went out from underneath me! The sight of her shapely bum had me turn to jelly!

We went out that night anyway and had an amazing time, we didn't need any drink at all, we were laughing and joking the whole time. The next few hours will always be a bit of a blur, but we woke up opposite each other in the morning, looked at each other and it was like we were thinking the exact same thing at the exact same time- "Is this your bed or mine?"

Fast forward fifteen years later and plenty of ups and downs, we're eight years married with just the one eight year old boy. I always say we'll have another child as soon as we can afford the first one! :pac:
