Hi guys, as you know I have a fecked graphics card. The graphics card box is quite litterly massive and I don't have any boxes big enough to accomidate it safely. The retailer I bought from has non reusable boxes unfortunately :rolleyes:

Most newsagents sell those padded envelopes with the bubblewrap built in for less than a euro-could always tuck a few of those around it, though it looks fine and the GPU box itself has padding I guess

Does anyone know if there's a water cooling fitting available that attaches halfway along a length of tubing and allows you to add or remove water from there? There's one section of my loop (between the CPU and RAd) that always seems to form a fairly significant bubble, it's easy enough to send it back up to the RAD but it will eventually work it's way back. Due to the RES being badly designed it's even more of a nightmare to clear it from there!!

Could try something like this. That, or a T-fitting, with a drain cap. You could also look at a quick disconnect fitting. A bit expensive for what you want, but probably the most precise. Talking about these.

If you've got air in your loop that you wan to get rid of, your best bet it to open your res, and shake your case about until you get it out. It's a pain in the balls, but it's the only real way to make sure.

Yeah the inside of it has plenty of foam padding in it. Above where the graphics card goes there is space for the accessories box and then another foam padding goes on top of that.

Once it does not move, it should be okay? I am a bit concerned about the top and bottom getting a bit squished

It should be fine-stuff some crunched up/shredded paper in to the emptytop and bottom sections to stop it moving and you're sorted.

Probably better just plugging a cheap gigabit switch into your existing router. 8-port routers tend to be a bit on the expensive side.

There are a few. Is it ATX you need? The SilverStone Temjin TJ08-E is about the best but it's m-ATX if that matters. Nice reviews and plenty of cooling/watercooling options.
Should be able to find it somewhere for €100.

Update: Nice, three downsides: awkward cable management, limited CPU cooler height(whole thing is on 18cm wide), no option for a H100.

ED E, that's two different standards that you're talking about.

Dell use BTX motherboards and cases. These are designed to be on the opposite side. You won't get many BTX boards around or supporting components.
The Bitfenix Outlaw etc., use ATX boards but mount them upside-down (or just opposite to the standard way of mounting them).

Now that you point it out I dont see how I didnt notice that they were "right way up" on the wrong side. I knew that dell werent ATX compliant.

Speaking of cases, I might be looking for a new case if these fans I've ordered don't help with the cooling in my PC (Guild Wars 2 made the GPUs run at 80C!) and I've been looking at the HAF X, after looking at benchmarks (couldn't believe there were case benchmarks available) it seems to be a good choice, anyone know the best place to get the V2 version of it?

Whats your setup in terms of intake/outake fans? I just changed my setup today. Have two 120mm on top as exhaust. 200mm intake in the front and a 120mm intake on the side. Temps dropped from 31 degrees idles on a reference 670 to 23. Load went from 72 to 59/60.

It's a Fractal Design Define R3, with stock fans (120 in front, 120 in rear). The 3 I ordered are going to go in the front, top and side all as intake.

overclockers are a disgrace tbh, one of the worse companies iv ever dealt with. They are fine when your happy with a product but absolute horrible when returning somthing

I was told id have to wait 7 days for a refund, now its 14 days. what a disgrace

14 days isn't that bad really. Sure if you're working with a credit card, you don't have to pay for longer than that. I think you give retailers too hard a time.

There's no excuse for telling a customer (numerous times) 7 days (even in there first email they sent me it mentions 7 days) but now its 14 days

So, was just on software4students and noticed they have a new layout. No problems there.

What I also noticed is that the only windows 7 now available is the 32-bit version. Does this even make a difference? Can you use the key for the 32 bit version to activate a 64 bit version?
