I'm going for McTurtles (Never knew twas spelt McTurcails)! Nice staff, bright and spacious, not too loud or pretentious. Affordable beverages is a major plus and easy access for commuters.

If things go south it's 3 to a Rickshaw and Yo-Ho to Bel-Coppers.

Last time I was there, I was paying nearly €15 for two vodkas and ONE cranberry juice :eek: It's a pity because they've a great beer garden but not a chance would I want to spend that much on drinks.

I voted for Messrs, it was between that and MacT's (I've never been there but heard good reports!)

Cassidy's is way too small and too much of a sweatbox for beers, I've been there for smaller forum beers a few times and it just can't handle that many people. Sub Lounge has started to get a bit knobbish and the bouncers are arseholes. And Longstone has absolutely no atmosphere, and last time I was there on a Saturday night they were closing up at 1.30.
