He would have had to cut his daily calorie count which would result in muscle loss. Now that he's back training and playing he'll be able to go back to his normal diet and increase bulk over the next month or two

In a way you were actually comparing their ability to Rooneys but whatever my point still stands that he isnt being pushed hard enough for his place in the team, and the fact he knows he is guaranteed to play isnt going to help him buck up anytime soon.

The point was Rooney was sh1te last night, has been for some time now and gets away with it because there is nobody to actually push him for his place in the team and he knows this too so is obviously relaxing a little too much. So no hoping the point gets lost here.

But this idea that he's some kind of Yaya Toure clone based on him destroying makshift defenders by getting on the end of incesant long balls is typical knee jerk stuff from the likes of homerjay who has probably seen him play once or twice outside United games.

De Gea - 9 MOM. Could have been 4-0 if it wasn't for him Valencia - 5 Not a right back Carrick - 4 Not a centre back, but I just wished he would have let Fellini know he was there by challenging him or giving a good push at times to put him off. Vidic - 7 Good to have him back Evra - 4 Not a left back Nani - 3 Brainless Cleverley - 6 Lots of energy. Kagawa - 8 Sexy at times Scholes - 5.5 Getting old Welbeck - 5 Bambi on ice Rooney - 2 Dreadful. Fat, terrible touch and THAT header. Maybe scoring him 2 was generous. Worst player on the pitch by a mile RVP - n/a Young - n/a Anderson n/a - looked chunky

Felexicon wrote: » Yes the similarities are that they are both big guys who can play the ball. But if that's the measuring stick you use for a good midfielder why not just move Vidic in there or even DeGea as they have the same attributes. There is much more to consider besides size and passing ability
Giggsy11 wrote: » Because Vidic and De Gea are not midfielders and Fellaini is and damn good one. Good that you stopped with at least footballers, for a min I thought you will add David Gill too.
