Before it get's too creepy in here: Completely off-topic, I guess this is why this is here, anybody able to suggest a really cheap psu? All I need it to do is power a few fans. Just adding a few in take and out take fans for my beardies vivarium. Don't particularly wanna order a mains axial fan as i've a few spare case fans.

I've had some deliveries well into the afternoon.

@Sarz91 Not a bad idea for getting a few extra fans. Surely if you ask around though, someone will be throwing out a PC or have an old one lying around. You don't need any kind of standard or quality really if it's just for a few fans... aside from maybe those PSUs that catch fire.

I know after last year with my project for college that mains axial fans aren't all that cheap. Radionics and rapidelectronics aren't the easiest to deal with either. I was told that a bearded dragon needs more ventilation so I should just drill holes in the vivarium. That just sounded un tidy to me and PC fans are cheap so it seemed like a good idea haha. We'll soon see.

I find the best thing is to and set resolution as required and start with settings all medium-AA/AF at minimum. Install fraps/afterburner or similar to keep an eye on fps, then push each setting detail etc. as high as possible without impacting on what you think is an acceptable frame rate.

There's a great guide here on tweakguides.com, well worth a read.

In case you arent aware, there's a big patch called Mann Vs Machine coming to TF2 Today(US Time). It'll be where everyone is at.

meh about TF2. i never understood hype about it. when it started to be hat whore game too i lost all interest in it!

Anyone else find the transition from console to pc cumbersome? Used to half decent at these games. I always end up hitting random buttons in a panic.

I made the transition at christmas and I still don't play as well as I did on console. I can't aim very well but I have no problems with the keyboard, just aiming.
