Agreed, its not very expandable but as ED E and you said, using the phones 3G as a hotspot/tether point works well when out and about.

Thing is I just asked in PC world on the off chance about 3 weeks ago, & they had one 16GB left for €259-someone reserved it but never collected it.

For the money its great value. Thought it might be a bit flimsy but its a well built piece of kit, good screen and the OS is slick, & way nicer to hold than an ipad. It will spend most of its life on the couch/in the kitchen browsing the web/checking mail etc. I discovered yesterday it has GPS built in, so I must stick navfree on it and see how it performs. For a person that was never that bothered by tablets I'm well impressed.

Wifi hotspot would give you a much higher datarate than bluetooth.

Yep. Its pretty well optimized too, works really well on my ancient laptop.

Anybody know the cost of shipping + tax for a keyboard from the US?
That Storm Trigger keyboard that I wanted a few months back is selling on the US Amazon with brown key switches for 100euro, although I expect that will go up a good bit with shipping and tax.

Its actually for protection vs sheen, and cleanability(thats actually a word according to chrome

).

I'll have a chat with them in store anyways and see what they recommend.

I'll never understand the fascination with backlit keyboards that you all seem to have. If you're typing enough to warrant the upgrade to mechanical switches then you shouldn't need to look at the keyboard at all...

It looks cool. I assume thats why most buy backlit boards. My 510 is backlit but I have to set it to dark green(not so visable) or it gets hot to the touch in places. It is handy for finding your positions quickly in the dark at times, but most of the time is just aesthetics.

I use my PC for gaming and I stay up til the wee hours. So, I needs me the back lighing:)

If your gaming your left hand is in a different position and your right hand isn't on the keyboard at all.
I think it's perfectly reasonable to want to look down to see where ';' is. Flying is playing ArmA 2 right now and there are plenty of important buttons spread around the keyboard.
