Any predictions of what will happen?

Only prediction I have so far is that Walt kills SkylR using the cigarette.

The most consistent knack in BB is Jesse's referring to Walt as Mr.White, owing to their high-school back-story, but I believe it's building up to something, namely Jesse's discovery of Walt's misdeeds, and confronting him with a "Hello, Walter".

I also predict that Marie Schrader will wear purple, and Walt Jr. will eat breakfast.....

I also read a really, really good fan-theory regarding Walt and Hank's relationship on Freakin' Awesome Network, by a poster named Rican, that suggests that even when/if Hank catches Walt, he'll let him go out of pride.

I actually have a different idea of how things will play out if (when) Hank finds out about Walt.

Basically, he won't bust him. Think about it. We saw a tease of it in this past episode. Hank's boss got the boot for having Gus right under his nose and not acting. Can you imagine what the DEA's reaction will be when they realize Hank had this huge meth manufacturer in his own damn family? Even if there isn't any formal discipline, there's going to be an investigation on Hank, too. At BEST, he'll be a laughingstock, which Hank still won't be able to take.

Hank may be the most morally upright character on the show, but he has a flaw: pride. It's not as bad as Walt certainly, but we saw it when he didn't want anyone to know how badly he was traumatized by the incident in El Paso, or how he didn't want help with his physical therapy. He won't want to be seen as a joke.

Further than that, how long before someone realizes Hank's therapy was paid for with Walt's drug money? How long before someone asks why the lead investigator on the Heisenberg case missed so many clues, made false arrests (season 2) and asks what if Hank was in on it and helped? Hell, Walt GOT the idea to start making meth in the first damn place from going on a ride-along drug bust with Hank!

When Hank realizes who Walt is, he'll also realize his ass is on the line, be it on his own or by Walt or Saul or someone pointing it out. His moral code won't let him kill Walt and cover it up, so he'll force him to leave town and hope the blue stuff dries up and the whole thing gets swept under the rug. This is what we saw with Walt on the run at the start of the season.

However, Hank will be unsuccessful. The theme of the show, I believe, is that EVERYONE will break bad. Hank's breaking bad moment will be letting Walt go, and it will cost him, too.

I think the ending will be very complex and difficult and probably not something any of us will get near by guessing, but it's worth a go

I can see Jesse turning on Walt. Whilst Walt has looked out for Jesse, Walt has also done so many bad things to Jesse that he doesn't even know about - off the top of my head there's the fact he didn't try and save Jane, he poisoned Brock with the plant, he gave him no choice but to kill Gael, he also tricked him with the ricin cigarette. Like Mr Saturn above mentions, I think it's all going to come to a head.

Mike has constantly warned Jesse that Walt is a bomb waiting to go off and we see that Mike does actually like Jesse. We know Jesse can cook properly now and Mike is able for the business side of things. I wouldn't be surprised to see Jesse and Mike team up to take over things whilst also go gunning to kill Walt.

Probably a bit too simplistic and obvious to actually be the ending but it's the best I can come up with :pac:

Whether we like it or not this is an AMC (American) production. Therefore Walt will lose everything, the camera will pan out and we will see him being interviewed from the inside of a prison cell, how he did what he did etc. Hank WILL be hailed as the Hero.
Jessie will be the one to come out on top, he will have learned a couple of lessons and have a few bob in his pocket.

I really want to see Jesse get away with the money. Walt will lose his family. Hank will lose his job. Couldn't guess how it will all get there tho.

Hmm think that was M80 ammunition at the start of Season 5... Nearly forgot about that scene, all that heavy duty gun isn;t for just one person though (i.e. mike) although it could just be a device to set someone up with.. It looks like about a good few months after the start of Season 5 if you look at the hair and beard.

I also think that Mike is going to become the new Protagonist for a while (Antagonist, whatever)..

I reckon you'll probably see a lot more people gunning for Mike over Walt in the next few weeks. Basically Mike plays exactly by the rules of the game and doesn't get greedy, he knows exactly how the system works both from an ex-cop's point of view and a criminal's point of view.

The sole reason he has to stay in the game is his family (granddaughter is caught up in the hazard pay/threatened by Hank and Gomez thing). If he wanted he could disappear in a flash given his expertise.

The sole reason Walt should be getting out of the game is his family, but he won't (scarface syndrome).

I reckon also that once that Blue CrystalMeth hits the streets again Hank will be back on the scene in a big way, remember Hanks only real link to the Blue Crystal Meth before was Jessie so inevitably he'll have to explore that avenue.

Also those dudes who shafted hank in the Grey Matter chemistry business will probably make an appearance again, there was a few flashbacks of Walt and the Woman but it just seemed unresolved and left hanging at the time.... they probably have a massive lab so Walt would love to become top dog of that again, maybe a long shot but he could put them in financial trouble to blackmail them into starting a global meth lab....

It's about a year away. It was his 52nd birthday and Marie just said its almost Walt's birthday one year after he got cancer. He was told about the cancer at 50 meaning he's just about 51 now.

Naa I just don;t see walt actually using the M80 like in Scarface, it would be just too cliched in a writing sense... he's the geeky type that would go for the chemical/booby trap type of response.

Reckon he'll just Kill Skyler and all his problems will be solved

i hope not, its a little too obvious if it goes down the scarface plot formula. But its checking all the boxes so far:

Eliminate competition: Gus is dead
Distributors and muscle: Jesse, Mike and his connections
Money laundering: Saul

All he needs now is to cross the wrong man and get high on his own product. Then Walt making a last man stand after the rest of his allies die.

Tony Montana is a archetypal gangster who is condemned by ultimately by what might be his only genuinely good act in the film: He kills the hitman, (and signs his own death warrant) in order to protect the life of the target's infant son when it turned out he was to be included in the hit.

Walter White starts off as an archetypal schoolteacher - which might be as far from being a gangster on a social level as you can get. He seems likely to fall foul of his misdeeds catching up with him. Maybe it's a juxtaposition.

I'm erring by the way of caution and self-preservation in the face of the inevitable, that being my favourite characters die. I'm quietly anticipating episode 8x16 opening with Jesse and Saul face down and decomposing in a ditch. I'm actively trying to dislike the two to soften its impact, but it gets harder with every episode.

I was thinking bout it last night, Skyler doesnt see a way out and has to resort to waiting for Walt to die and she can be rid of him. What if Walt grows more and more pissed at her not being the same woman he was married to at the start of the show?
At this point everyone close to her knows shes gone a little bit nuts so would it be possible for Walt to spike her with the Ricin and then when she has the 'flu like symptoms' and probably not able to hold consciousness together, Walt ties her up in the hot press room and hang her? Making it look like suicide?

I think Walt Jr will be killed in a car crash soon, there has been too much focus on the new cars and Walt Jr.'s lack of driving skills for him not to end up in a major accident. Maybe it will breathe some humanity back into Walter.

I dont reckon this was a foreshadowing, I saw this more as Skyler hearing it and fearing her and especially the kids will end up dead unless they get away from Walt, you can see the fear in her eyes after she sees this.

Its very hard to see how itll end, I always taught over the last few seasons that Jesse will find out about Brock and Jane and itll end with a showdown between the 2, with Hank just after figuring it all out on his way only to find Walt dead with Jesse gone driving into the sunset with a bag full of money. But afer the last few episodes I can see Skyler killing Walt and accepting the consequences for it by going to jail just to keep her kids safe. I dont see how the opening scene of this season fits into either of these so im probably way off :pac:

I actually think it would be cool in a way if Walt managed to get away scot free with the children with everyone else taking a fall. It would be so wrong it would be funny, who says there has to be justice
