I've already reset password about 5 times, so no point in trying that again.
Starting bf3 via the icon brings up the request to login via battlelog anyway. Battlelog seems to be the ONLY way to access the game.

opening BF3 via its icon instead of through origin should automatically open a new tab in your browser and be logged into battle log.

its a pretty lame reason to ask for a refund anyway. you'll have to speak to EA customer service either way anyway.

Well I bought & downloaded BF3, problem is the game requires you to log into 'battlelog' with your e-mail & password to access the game.

Typically, it didn't recognise my password, so I went to origin account and changed it. Tried again, and I got message 'Buy BF3 to get access to battlelog'. WTF??

Difficult to see how I can even contact someone in EA about it, but probably pointless as I heard their service is rubbish if you have any sort of problem. Guess I'll be looking for a refund.

1.39 volts way too high for a 3930k to be at 4.5ghz? 35 degrees on idle with a h100. I had it stable with prime for like 20 minutes when I first did it at 1.3V, but every few days I'll get a random blue screen and so I push the voltage up 0.05v at a time. So far since the last change it hasn't bluescreened, and luckily it hasn't bluescreened while I was doing anything important, it's always while I'm watching a youtube video, actually.

there are quite a few in that price bracket. the very popular and very nice LG W2363D was about €150 when i bought it for a friend. pitty that its been discontinued. you could still pick them up second hand though, and theyre worth the money.

Thanks Guys, Well I'd like to go for a 24' as the old monitor I have at the moment is longer vertically than the dell 23'.

This Acer is the best seller on amazon and seems pretty nice, Its TNT so If I wanted to avoid the IPS coating it might be worth a look.

I wouldn't be buying an IPS panel unless it was for gaming or some other application they're meant to be good at. (photo editing?) A cheap BenQ 24" looks pretty good and does the same job for most applications.

I read on one of the reviews of the Dell 2412
As stated in the beginning of this review Dell U2412M uses an eIPS panel. eIPS panels have most of the same image characteristics as other IPS variants, which also means that the dirty / crystalized panel coating is present. Some people prefer VA panels because of this. However, if you are used to working in front of an IPS panel, you will have no problem with U2412M. On the other hand; if you feel distracted by the crystalized coating on IPS panels, U2412M is not different from most other IPS based monitors.

For a non professional. i.e a person who just uses a monitor to surf and stuff, is an IPS panel worth the extra money, and of course the crystalised panel?

Does Dell have any good non ips panels?

Turns out though I was logged in and on ebay.ie, it still quoted me for a rate not available to me. Hnnnnngh. Now awaiting a quote from the seller. Over €35 all in I'll probably just try sell it off on adverts and get something VESA.

Ouch. That's a shame. All of the Dell monitors I've seen in the past are made with mounting holes on the back panel.

What monitor do you have? Every Dell I've seen is compatible. They seem to be one of the few that consistently support VESA.

Just about to order a pair of VESA wall mounts, then I realised my primary isnt VESA compatible, only way is to get a custom adapter from some bloke in the US, why the f'ck did I have to buy dell. Raging.
