Refused sunday drink

So I was in pub which advertised all day Sunday cocktails for €5. So I waited for 12:00 on the 8/7 and was told it wasn't Sunday. That the all day Sunday cocktail where only available from Opening on Sunday at 8. So was I being pedantic or Sunday is Sunday ?

Can a mod correct the typo in the poll please . Thanks

They are not legally obliged to do anything. They can advertise 1 cent cocktails and not honour the advertisement. An advertisement is not a contract. Look it up. It's an invitation to offer a contract, which can be rejected by the offeree.

As already pointed out, the bar's new day starts on the next day it opens.

This could be turned around easily.

A club advertises "Friday $2 beers all night". No prob there.
Doors open at 10pm and at 11:59pm the price rises to $5.
What side of the fence are most of the customers on now?

I'm sure in their eyes the club should be doing the special "all night" as advertised. It is Saturday morning so there is no obligation on the club to do it, is there?
