Anyway just to show how things have declined at Liverpool the final could feature Alonso, Torres, Arbeloa and would have featured Meireles but for his card. Had Barca won just swap Masch for Torres.

TBH, I like to think that Torres left due to the instability at the club, he did not know if Kenny was going to work out or not, if you were to be sarcastic, you could state Torres was right.
I wish him the best of luck in the CL final, its a big one for him seeing as he is ex Athletico, (if real get through) I just hope that he does not kick us in the ar se in the cup final
Also, he was the player that got my juices flowing for a couple of years in a red shirt, I have happy memories of him as a Liverpool player.

The one player I cannot stand in any shape or form, is Owen

FACT is he left to win things, Not because he hated Liverpool,
Now he has chance to win 2 major honours,
He got out at the right time in all fairness,

Hate to have him in our side as we lose endless games, Probably would not get near 50m if he was still here,

Nah, some of us have just gotten our fill of seeing Torres suffer over the last 18 months and hence find it that bit easier to move on.

Not every change of opinion, especially one changed gradually over the course of nearly two years, can be described as fickle.

Just on the Kenny thing, I keep thinking of an article posed a couple of times in the English Independent pointing out the lack of support and advice for him, starting with the Suarez thing, poor legal advice ad Commoli wasn't up to it as a DoF type.

If Kenny is to stay, there needs to be a root and branch reform of the support levels given to him. The legal advice in the Suarez case a classic example of poor advice.

As for the Liverpool way, the Liverpool way is to acknowledge when you are outplayed, applauding Arsenal in 1989 a perfect example, the problem is we've seen it far too often lately, particularly this season.

As for getting behind the team, with Anfield so quiet, I'm afraid Kess seems to be the exception to the rule. I've my doubts about Dalglish and his signings but when Carroll scores a match winning goal, I'll rub it in to his doubters because I hope it means it's the start of something. I'll carry that onto the next match, but it seems there's an inevitable doom expected by the majority of home support at matches. Yeah, Liverpool aren't where we expect but we've a record to defend, to get above our lowest placed level in 50 years.

That's a target that means a lot to me, as much as a Cup Final.
