Total banking n00b here. I am making a long term move to Australia. What's the most cost-efficient way to transfer my euros from my Irish bank account into my new Australian one?

Try some of the FX Exchange companies, some have offices in Dublin.

Try transfermate.com, use them a lot for work and never had any issues with them.

Really good customer service. From what I remember, the first transfer is free and every fifth transfer is free. Exchange rate is usually quite good. It takes 3 days for money to clear.

If there's a charge it's about $5 regardless of transfer.
