Even if you change it to how easy it is to get a lot of damage, it's still not easy for him. Sure he can get high damage off a ton of meter off a good few starters, but that's wasting all of your meter. Yes I know he builds it up over time naturally, but it's not like your opponent just sits there and lets you. Considering he's useless without meter, it's a fair trade. He also has pretty awful pressure and mix ups. All of his decent overheads cost 3 magatama, which is almost as much as a rapid cancel and he can't do anything off his normal overhead which does so little damage.

What I'm trying to get at really is that the vast majority of characters have their tools to get damage and how hard they are to use depends on the player. I guess you did say your personal opinion but I was just emphasising it's all player dependant and sticking up for my character.

Except for Ragna and Platinum obviously, **** those characters. B C Hell's fang/ Mami circular all day.

Notice how I just changed a few things in your quote to be about Noel and I could make nearly the same argument. I'm not saying Hakumen is balls easy or anything, he's just not really difficult. I guess a more accurate description, rather than easy, would have been how much work you have to put in for high damage. In that case Hakumen doesn't take nearly as much work as Noel. She's "high risk, high reward" without the "high reward". Sure, I guess if you land a CH 6C and you're in the corner then you can get good damage, if you also have meter. Because remember, even her best combos won't build over 50 meter for guaranteed super. Look, I'll admit that Noel is kinda derpy (I probably shoulda had her a little more towards the derpy side) but she still takes a lot of work if you're gonna be good with her. She has some of the worst mix-up and terrible pressure. What makes her seem more derpy than she is, is her drive invincibility. It may seem like I'm just mashing 2D and 4D a lot (and sometimes I am) but more often than not I actually have to time it really well so I don't get punished hard. Also 5D is very hard to use, especially since it got nerfed from it already crappy CS2 invul frames. Anyways, I didn't really mean to go on a rant about Noel. I just felt like I needed to defend her, since she's a women and therefore helpless.

About Hazama, yeah that was my point in making him slightly derpy, but still hard.

This is pretty damn true, except I think Noel deserves to be practically underneath Tager since that match up is complete ass for Noel.
Oh and I mostly agree with Naphiel's tier list, except I still think that Jin should be higher than Noel. But I guess that's just my own personal bias, also Carl should be a little higher.

I don't really mean for their to be an SS tier, it just stops things being so congested. I'd say Ragna and Valk are the two top characters in the game. We all know why Ragna is top tier, but I'd say Valk takes the other spot over Hakumen because of his vastly superior mobility.

I'd say Hakumen is the weakest of the 3 only because of his limited mobility. Means he has some difficulty with certain match ups and he can be zoned out fairly well.

Tao is really strong but lacks defensive options. Hazama is Hazama. Don't see any major faults with Bang, he does good damage, had great mobility, pressure and mix ups. Carl is Carl. Mu has great corner damage but almost all of her moves are unsafe.

Rest is just the middle ground and bottom end. Tager is really good in this version but because of some terrible match ups isn't that high. Noel still has that high risk high reward factor, especially in the corner. Makoto is the worst character in the game but still has amazing jabs and good mix ups.

He doesn't even have to do anything, just have Nirvana near him and practically everything is a burst bait. The only safe way to burst against him is when Carl is physically hitting you with a relatively slow move, that way he would have to RC to bait.

Uhhhh, it happens all the time. I see it practically every match I watch. In fact even I've done it many times, so has Chuey, Voa, Xinkai, Naphiel. Maybe they did burst bait more in GG, but I see it all the time in BB. I even see people bait Counter Assault, which is much harder.
