I happen to think Bono is a sound lad.

George Lee's new jobs crusade programme was an awful crock of. Yeah, it's wonderful that a former car showroom was converted to a garden centre. But how many have money to spend on plants and statues these days? And how exactly is converting the rest of these poorly-located monstrosities to shops a solution?

Jeremy Clarkson has offended so many social groupings/minorities etc. that he should be treated like the out-of-touch twit he is by being ignored.

People who tell me to cheer up/be happy when I'm clearly down in the dumps/really annoyed/feel terrible should go away. I will not dress up my feelings just so others can feel better about themselves.

I have never, ever liked The Beatles or Elvis. Same with Nirvana, I've always thought they were a bit overrated.

South Park can present some interesting opinions and arguments if you actually watch it.

Linux/Apple/Microsoft zealots need something else to occupy their time with. My laptop/phone/mp3 player are tools, little more.

I quite like Coldplay and Keane.

"Burglarize" is the worst word I have ever encountered.

Pepsi is better than Coke. But Dr.Pepper trumps both of those drinks.

Soccer fans who say that "we" beat the other team confuse me. You're not on the team, you're not on the pitch, you're (more than likely) in a pub getting smashed. Soccer is boring.

The Irish language is archaic and useless. It should never have been made a working language of the EU.

Even if that is true (which it probably isn't) IQ tests measure ability to score high in IQ tests and that's about it.

There are whole chunks of the human mind and of human intelligence they don't cover.

Secondly, there is no statistical difference in intelligence between the genders. How do you even measure intelligence?
