Not really streaming at the best speed or quality. Upgrading my CPU and GPU shortly so might help.

I'm on UPC 50mb with 4mb upload and would love to see the setting sfor an Irish user who has decent quality and good FPS stream using xfire.

Finally got my streaming woes sorted (or so it seems).

Since I'm sick from work I'll be streaming all weekend (oh crap just remembered it's MLG T_T) and every weekday from now on.

I'm facing GM/High Masters on NA.

I do troll/test builds on EU. (Masters level)

What kind of internet are you guys streaming with? I'm getting a new computer soon, that will be able to handle SC2 and the streaming software, internet speed test just now is:

You can stream with that -- provided you use the correct settings -- because I have worse.

You need to note though, you will literally not be able to upload or run anything else while streaming at that speed.

Yeah you should be fine but i dont know what audio/video quality you will manage with it. If you want to try streaming the easiest way to do it is to down load XSplit Broadcaster and make a channel on twitch.tv. XSplit is in beta and free atm, dont know if it is going to be paid in the future or what but i find it quite easy to use. To set it up all you have to do is download it, go to broadcast > edit channels.... > add channel on the right side > Justin.tv > then enter username and password and you can change all the settings below. Once thats done, all you have to do is save them, go back to the main screen hit file > Add Screen Region > select where your game is going to be (I just select whole screen) and it will add that to your 1st scene. Then up top again to broadcast > click justin.tv and it will start broadcasting

you can then view it on www.twitch.tv/Your_Username.

Im on 2.5mb average and i can manage 700 mb video on both with 44.2 KHz, 96000K audio, haven't tried above that yet.

Well I get a pretty good quality without high settings and absolutely diabolical upload speeds (as seen on my channel -- all the VoDs are there).

Here's also an absolutely BRILLIANT guide to streaming with low upload. (I use this and it has worked really well). Note: you'll have to fiddle around with SOME of the settings to get it to work for you but this guy is just like me -- sh*t upload -- and following the basic foundations of this I've found a way to stream for a few hours a day.
