Wow, totally forgot about this thread! Blast from the past. So I came across a Glasweigan band called Aztec Camera recently. They are a New Wave/Post Punk band that released their debut, High Land, Hard Road in 1983. Think it's a quality album and a bit of a hidden gem. Fans of The Smiths/The Cure would definitely dig this album.

was probably seen as a flop after mellon collie, but to me its corgans finest display of song writing, a haunting album dealing with the loss of his mother, its the album i keep coming back to, so much depth and variety

Saw them on later and really liked them. Got the album, have only had a quick listen so far but it does sound quite promising. It does dip its toe into Country ever so slightly, sometimes, so that may put some people off.

I love a bit of country music, probably why i like them so much. Have given the album a good few listens and have really enjoyed it as well.
