I remember listening to 'wish you were here' by pink floyd for the first time and thinking about a relative of mine who suffered from a serious mental illness similar to syd barrett and who eventually died and bawling my eyes out. Also 'homes of donegal' by paul brady always gets me when im away from home for long periods

Wires by Athlete always brings me to tears, it was written after the lead singers daughter was born prematurely. My own daughter was premature and the song really encapsulates how i was feeling when she was NICU.

I defy anyone to think of a sad experience and not feel emotional during Chopin's Nocturne in E Flat Major (you'll know it when you hear it, everyone knows this tune).

Got home one evening after dropping my brother to the airport and some knob had put Chopin on in the living room. He was just gone backpacking, but I bawled my eyes out when I sat down to listen.

Even this thread is making me a little weepy. I'm off to chop some onions!

This is another song that cuts deep, In a more nostalgic way I suppose though. I am one for always wanting to keep going and going and to be honest I feel paranoid that I am wasting my youth by not keeping moving, but I feel like I may be missing out on the best bits by not sticking around.
