I got a very good deal on a Canon 1000D in Media Markt in Lisbon.

I believe they are Europe wide except here.

It came with a 18 -55 mm and a 75 - 300 mm lense. It cost €499 a 2 years warranty.

hard to argue with that for the price, it's a great starter compact DSLR but i'm not sure how many boardsies will be in Lisbon to pick one up.

Plenty Media Markt outlet's in Spain & Portugal, some great value but some rip off's also for example SD cards are way over the top compared to a 16gig x10 I recently picked up at Easons

the jessops price quoted earlier on has an 18-55mm lens.
