HP Touchpad Thread (NO Discussion Of Personal Buying/Selling)

Just a heads up to people.

I'm in NY for the summer and I've just ordered 2 of these for $220.
HP have discontinued the Touchpad this week and are now letting them go for $99 (16GB) and $149 (32GB).

I know most of you aren't in the USA but treat this as a heads up to get a very good tablet, with Flash Player, at a knock-down price.

I paid for mine yesterday, got the "payment received" mail. But nothing since.

my dabs order is in a dispatch state - and they gave me a tracking number.
even though they haven't charged my cc yet .... will see later.

saw this on my account and decided to buy a HP case - a e25 gamble.
went down to argos navan - and bought it.

chatting to the manager - he said navan never had stock of the tablet.
but when he checked for a customer this morning - it shows on their system as a due date of the 9th sept - prob for the UK , for more tablets.
just some info.

thanks folks for all the info etc.

now hopefully my dabs order will dispatch today :cool:

You could ring your credit card company and ask if they have checked the card and locked the money. Might not show online yet but credit card company might have more info.

I think expansys price for touchpads will be very high.. look at pre3 price.. they want €200, when elara was selling them for 75€. Even if there will be touchpads it will be ripoff

Yeah I know what you mean, nothing came to Letterkenny

The manager didn't know what I was talking about. Thought it was an error

no sign of any coming in, he checked surrounding stores and they had nothing.
