HP Touchpad Thread (NO Discussion Of Personal Buying/Selling)

Just a heads up to people.

I'm in NY for the summer and I've just ordered 2 of these for $220.
HP have discontinued the Touchpad this week and are now letting them go for $99 (16GB) and $149 (32GB).

I know most of you aren't in the USA but treat this as a heads up to get a very good tablet, with Flash Player, at a knock-down price.

Decided to have a go at this, I know plenty of people that want one. Just got an Argos reservation number (easy), I hope they announce the price drop tomorrow....

Naw, I think the blame for denying you the awesomeness of Webos lies squarely on the HP's CEOs' shoulders.

She got the one yesterday, order confirmed subject to stock. That was before 8 I think so was in early, they were still selling them until 9 I think.

Well sharing it with a community who share with each other all the time.

Not with 10000s of people who stumble upon here and reap the info of boards.ie users to get what they want...then disappear thil they found some other alert.

That, IMO, is not the spirit of BA.

Especially when u get people buying/ordering a few from every site mentioned here.
