HP Touchpad Thread (NO Discussion Of Personal Buying/Selling)

Just a heads up to people.

I'm in NY for the summer and I've just ordered 2 of these for $220.
HP have discontinued the Touchpad this week and are now letting them go for $99 (16GB) and $149 (32GB).

I know most of you aren't in the USA but treat this as a heads up to get a very good tablet, with Flash Player, at a knock-down price.

Honestly, people seem to be really grasping at straws here.

Someone earlier bought 2 touchpads on amazon or some other site, at full price of like £500 each, and his logic was that he will look for the difference of £400 to be credited back to him and if they dont do it, he will send them back to the site. Madness really. People need them that much to go to that lengths?

Just in case people are wondering what happened earlier.......

The good lads at HN carrickmines had mine reserved and I picked it up at about 5.56...4 mins before closing :-) phewwwww....

I think I spotted a boardsie coming down the escalators as I was running up them.

It's a nice piece of kit. No real complaints for the price I paid.

HP offer cloud storage if you think you "might" need it. If you think you definitely need more than 16, get the 32.
