Garda Vetting & Overseas/UK Caution

I need to get Garda vetted soon for a job. I have an overseas caution, specifically a drug caution in the UK but I have never lived there. Does anyone know if they automatically check your UK record if you do not have a previous address there? I doubt it, but just wanted to ask.

No , Garda Vetting only covers Republic of Ireland .

A separate vetting would have to be done to cover UK.
